Sessions

The whole course consists of 10 sessions held MONTHLY on Monday evenings from September to July.

These sessions cover a range of topics and workshops that aim to shape the ‘heart, head and hands’.

Heart topics include Cultivating Intimacy, servanthood and leadership. Head topics include the theology of worship and praise in the old and new testament . Hands topics include basic music theory, set preparation, and leading a band. You can request the full details of the whole course here.

Contributors

This course is led and facilitated by April Ballard, the senior pastor at Open House Community Church. April has previously served as a worship pastor and has led worship in a variety of settings, from grassroots church plants to summer festivals. With over 10 years of experience in leading worship and mentoring other worship leaders, April brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to this course, aiming to support and encourage others in their growth as worship leaders

Session dates are as follows; Sep 8th / Oct 6th / Nov 10th / Dec 8th / Jan 12th / Feb 9th / Mar 9th / May 11th / Jun 8th / July 6th

The sessions will be held in the centre of Bristol at City Road Baptist Church starting at 7pm and finishing at 9.15pm
